About

We’re your typical family…Mom, Dad, 2 daughters, a Yorkie, and a Grandpa (all under one roof). We apparently thrive on chaos as it seems we’re always in it. But isn’t everyone?

Mom (that’s me) works full-time as an executive assistant/operations manager.I love to write and I always have something I’m totally obsessed with. I’m a former personal trainer so I write a lot about fitness. And my struggle with my own motivation. Sure, I love spin, but I also love cake!

Dad quit his job on 6/22/12 to start his own business. He is super-dad. Because of a flexible schedule, he is the one who runs the kids around everywhere and even fixes dinner and cleans up around the house.

Claire, 10, who is destined to be President or at the very least an attorney, is a year round swimmer. She plans to be an Olympian. Whatever she decides to do, she’ll be successful. She’s driven, stubborn, and smart. Did I mention stubborn? She has a good head on her shoulders and is destined for greatness, if I may say so myself.

Grace, 7, is a gymnast. She will most certainly be famous one day, although it will probably be on a stage and not the uneven bars. We encourage her to use her beauty and charm for good. She is constantly asking when we’ll be moving to Hollywood, New York, or Paris. She has big dreams and will no doubt fulfill them.

Louie is a spoiled rotten Yorkie. He’s the real boss of the house. Just ask him.

Grandpa lives with us full-time and takes care of the kids when we can’t. He’s also a hoarder, but he calls it “bargain shopping”. We’re grateful for Grandpa (the 47 tubes of toothpaste, not so much).
